Bio:
“Started throwing in the summer of 2008 when the economy crashed. I was working construction and found myself being bored while out of work. I started running at Quail Ridge in Wentzville, MO for exercise and asked some random guy on hole 9, “What the hell is game you’re playing?” After he told me, I finished my run and went to straight Dicks Sporting Goods as thats where he said I could get some of the discs. I bought myself one of the 3 disc starter packs and have been hooked ever since. I lost one of those 3 disc the very first time I played a round by myself. I was a couple disc kind of player for first couple years, I got my dad and both younger brothers out throwing, soon after my dad and I was playing almost everyday. In 2011 I found out about the PDGA and started playing tournaments, 1st tournament was an A Tier, the St Louis Open. Ive played in 25+ states, 300+ courses and Ive traveled to Arizona, Las Vegas and South Carolina just for a disc golf tournaments. I decided to accept cash and take the professional status at end of 2013, unfortunately blew out my right knee at end of that year and had to take a lot of 2014 off. Other then that I play in 25 tournaments on the low end with local and PDGA events combined and upwards of 45 most years since I’ve been playing. The one thing I enjoy most about this sport is the people. I have family all across the country just because of this sport. I’ve met people of all ages and backgrounds in this sport and all just as welcoming as the next, its something I’ve personally never experienced in any other sport.
