Noel Smith is a self-taught artist based out of Gainesville, Fl. He works primarily with professional grade acrylics on canvas. Noel started painting in late 2019 after a chef/baker career, now giving everything into his new passion. He taught himself all of his techniques through experimentation, and the love of learning his new medium. Noel's many influences include his lifelong connection to wildlife and the beauty of finding light in the dark. His work started as fun hobby but quickly became a way to deal with trauma after a rare spinal cord autoimmune attack left him unsure how life would be going forward. After a couple of years of painting countless hours Noel began showing his work at fine art festivals, painting murals, doing commissioned works, and displaying at local galleries.
